Abdullah Husen: Butterflies for my first audit mandate!

So after two weeks of intense training and team building activities, this week I finally got to do my first audit mandate. Despite all the training and preparation, the first day was very intimidating and I couldn’t make heads or tails from the numbers in the client’s records. However, I was lucky to be assigned with very patient and supportive seniors who answered all my questions without making me feel stupid. By the second day on the job, it was smooth sailing. Today, I still need to ask a lot of questions but at least I don’t feel lost, thanks to the mentorship of my colleagues.
